This book is about a girl named Pippilotta Deliacatessa Windowshade Efraim's Daughter Longstockings (but all her friends call her Pippi).
It all starts in Villa Villekulla, when she meets two kids named Tommy and Annika. They become very good friends. Later on Tommy and Annika find out how strong Pippi really is (lets just say she can lift a horse).
Next we find Pippi, Tommy and Annika shipwreaked on an island in the middle of a lake. Later they decide they will camp out on that little island, while Tommy and Annika's mother and father are away on a trip. In the middle of the night Pippi takes the boat (that they got on the island with) and puts it under a spruce tree. The next morning they were all sad because they can't find the boat. Finally, Pippi remember where she put it.
One day Pippi gets an unexpected visit, her father. He had just returned from an island where the natives live, he was their "Cannibal King".
I liked this book because its a mystery and you never know what Pippi's going to do. Pippi Goes on Board is a great book!
