Our family historian, Betty H., said that our Great Grandfather James{right} helped with the chain that is saving the city under the chained rock, Pineville in Bell County, Kentucky from a huge boulder, 1000 ft. over the city. It's a good 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot to the chain with good trails. Photos by Woody and Mike Chained Rock is Kentucky's 1st State Park. It's a good mile hike. Easy getting there, a little rougher coming back.
